A Brief Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supporting and supervising the day‑to‑day maintenance activities to ensure reliable equipment performance and operational efficiency. This role involves hands‑on oversight and collaboration with maintenance team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, implement preventative maintenance measures, and support the organization's safety and operational goals.

What you will do
  • Provide direct assistance in identifying and resolving equipment issues to maintain optimal functionality and uptime.
  • Manage personnel, tools, and equipment effectively to maximize productivity and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Enforce preventative maintenance protocols to preserve equipment integrity and extend operational lifespan.
  • Coordinate staffing and skillsets to meet current maintenance requirements, anticipating future operational needs.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training, focusing on technical and problem‑solving skills to ensure team readiness and retention.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑functioning facility and infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards by conducting training and monitoring compliance with safety protocols and programs.
  • Track and manage maintenance expenses to support budget goals and operational demands.
  • Some duties may vary slightly by location.
Education Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (Preferred)
Experience Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years as a Maintenance Technician or in a supervisory maintenance role in high‑throughput facilities (e.g., Food, Pharmaceutical, Beauty, or similar industries) (Required)
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to prioritize maintenance tasks and assign responsibilities effectively to maximize team productivity. (High proficiency)
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, maintaining a collaborative and positive team environment. (High proficiency)
  • Experience with MRO, preventive maintenance (PM), and corrective maintenance (CM) planning. (High proficiency)
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with maintenance team members and other departments. (High proficiency)
  • Capability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining a high level of quality. (High proficiency)
  • Proven organizational and customer service skills, with leadership qualities to guide the team. (High proficiency)
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and propose solutions to optimize performance and reduce downtime. (High proficiency)
  • Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and machine electronics is a plus. (Medium proficiency)
  • Ability to support CMMS‑related tasks, including tracking daily activities and reporting on team performance. (Medium proficiency)
  • Basic understanding of boiler systems, air compressors, water treatment processes, and relevant safety protocols. (Medium proficiency)
