ALIP QA Tester – Annuity Transformation ProgramLocation:
Holmdel, NJ
Duration: 12 plus months contract with possible extension
Core Responsibilities- Perform QA testing for annuity products migrated to Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) as part of the transformation program.
- Analyze business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), and user stories related to annuity product transformation.
- Design and execute test cases and test scenarios for annuity lifecycle processes including:
- New business / policy issuance
- Premium processing
- Policy servicing and endorsements
- Withdrawals and surrender transactions
- Annuitization and payouts
- Validate data migration and transformation from legacy annuity systems to ALIP.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for transformed annuity workflows.
- Validate product configurations, riders, and annuity calculations within ALIP.
- Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or HP ALM.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams during Agile sprints.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist business users with defect triage.
- Conduct backend validation using SQL for annuity transactions and migrated data.
- Strong experience in annuity or life insurance domain.
- Hands-on testing experience with Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP).
- Knowledge of annuity products and transactions (withdrawals, annuitization, surrender, payout options).
- Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based delivery.
- Experience validating data migration and legacy-to-ALIP transformation.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Automation testing exposure using Selenium.
- Understanding of annuity calculations and financial validations.
- Test strategy and test plans for annuity transformation releases
- Detailed test cases and test execution reports
- Defect reports and traceability matrices
