Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team as we extend our proven life and annuities capabilities into the group insurance market, directly shaping how insurers manage worksite benefits and group coverage.

As a Business Configuration Analyst, you will be hands‑on with FAST platform configuration, working closely with a strong Product Owner to build out new business processes, policy administration workflows, and distribution management capabilities specifically designed for worksite products. You’ll serve as both a technical implementer and a business process expert, translating group insurance requirements into configured solutions while gathering insights that drive our product evolution.

Responsibilities
  • FAST Platform Configuration:
    Configure FAST's tool set to implement worksite and group insurance components including enrollment processes, new business workflows, policy administration, and distribution management.
  • Worksite Process Implementation:
    Design and configure business processes specific to worksite insurance including employee enrollment, eligibility management, billing configuration, and multi‑life policy structures with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Implementation:
    Design, test, and troubleshoot platform configuration including orchestrations, rules, data model, and integration. Develop and maintain configuration documentation and best practices for worksite solutions.
  • Product Expansion Support:
    Work closely with the Product Owner to translate group insurance business requirements into technical specifications and configured solutions.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Serve as a point of support for customers implementing worksite features. Gather feedback, understand group insurance operational needs, and translate customer requirements into configuration improvements and product recommendations.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    Execute comprehensive testing of worksite configuration, including end‑to‑end business process validation. Support customer testing efforts and troubleshoot issues during implementation.
  • Cross‑functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with Product Owners, engineers, and customer teams to ensure alignment on worksite implementations. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product backlog refinement for group insurance features.
  • Customer Enablement:
    Present worksite capabilities to customers, demonstrate configuration options, and explain technical concepts in accessible business terms. Support demos and implementation conversations for group insurance prospects and clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with insurance business processes, with group insurance or worksite benefits knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Experience with implementing software solutions and low‑code/no‑code platform configuration preferred.
  • Experience with AI configuration and prompting a plus.
  • SQL proficiency.
  • Software troubleshooting and log analysis experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with product teams and customers.
  • Self‑motivated with ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving product environment.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
