Registered Nurse - Emergency - Per Diem — Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey
Responsibilities- Delivery of nursing practices according to up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide safe and excellent, individualized patient care.
- Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the health care team regarding patient status, care, and treatment plans.
- Medication administration utilizing barcode scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safe delivery of medications.
- Point-of-care electronic documentation of patient assessments, plan of care, interventions, and evaluation of care rendered.
- Patient and family-centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association
- BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
- 1 year ED experience required
- ACLS certification
- PALS and CEN preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability for improving lives, exceptional teamwork, commitment to ongoing education, and the ability to deliver high-quality care with a patient-focused approach
Minimum rate of $45.73 Hourly. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of the total rewards package.
