Budget Analyst

Salary: $65,000–$85,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Hollywood, FL (Hybrid after initial onsite period)

This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented financial professional who enjoys analytical work, policy-oriented budgeting, and partnering with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and control.

The Budget Analyst will perform moderately complex budgetary, financial, and management analysis. Responsibilities include reviewing budget estimates, conducting financial and economic analyses, evaluating reports to maintain expenditure controls, and supporting staff in the use of automated budgeting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze budget estimates and reports to ensure compliance and expenditure control.
  • Perform financial and economic analysis to support organizational decision‑making.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and assist in the preparation and review of budget submissions.
  • Provide support and training to staff regarding budgetary systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address financial and operational inquiries.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in budget implementation, monitoring, accounting, or government budget analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lawson/Infor, Hyperion, or similar accounting/budget systems.
Work Environment

This role begins onsite at the Hollywood headquarters. After the initial period, it transitions to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote).
