We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Miramar, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Your expertise will contribute to key accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger management. THIS IS A FULLY IN OFFICE ROLE IN MIRAMAR.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and post journal entries to document accounting activities.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze financial data to assist in preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting procedures and policies.
- Review and monitor transactions for compliance with established accounting standards.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement improvements.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
- Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.
- Strong skills in preparing and posting journal entries.
- Experience with account and bank reconciliations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting IS A MUST!
