Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miramar, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, excels in managing full-cycle accounting operations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data.

- Manage general ledger operations, including maintaining account balances and reconciling discrepancies.

- Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve any inconsistencies.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.

- Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with other departments to address accounting-related inquiries and provide support as needed.

- Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits and internal reviews. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.

- Proficiency in using Net Suite or similar accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and related accounting practices.

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

- Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
