ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule. When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.

You must engage actively by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts  you do not respond, employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment will be administratively terminated.

Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it most are critical to your success in this role. After being offered a position, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts you desire to work.

• Communicating effectively and attentively to guests’ needs
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Attention to detail while multi-tasking
• Ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Responsibilities typically include:

• Deliver a welcoming guest experience and assist with guest needs
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues
• Support order pick up, drive-up, and registry guests with service accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies as needed
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and Fulfillment services
• Assist with cash handling and cashier operations as needed
• Adhere to safety policies and store procedures
