Overview

Senior Maintenance Technician - Day Shift, Holly Springs, NC. On-Site role. Open to Veterans and military-affiliated candidates as part of our program.

Job Description – This position provides technical expertise and guidance supporting the start-up of the plant and daily operations in manufacturing, laboratories, utilities, and related areas. The focus in the first 1–2 years is to partner with the Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations teams to support start-up, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and systems.

• Support development, writing, and implementation of maintenance program documentation (SOPs, Change Control, Non-Conformance, Work Orders, Job Plans, Hazard/Risk Assessments, Job Hazards Assessments).
• Ensure staff safety during construction, start-up, and maintenance activities.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and documentation of process and utility equipment post-construction.
• Complete quality and safety documentation and perform work safely, on time, and with minimal production impact in accordance with GMP, SOPs, Amgen policies.
• Communicate work with system operators and stakeholders; ensure work order documentation is complete.
• Review maintenance reports, forms, plans, and records; identify waste and opportunities for process improvement; assist with implementation.
• Support ongoing learning and development; participate in team skill development.
• Provide facility and manufacturing support as needed, including on-call rotation outside normal hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

• Minimum Education
  :
  High School/GED or Associate’s degree with corresponding maintenance experience as described below.
• Basic Qualifications
  :
  High school diploma/GED and 6 years of maintenance experience OR an Associate’s degree and 4 years of maintenance experience.
• Preferred Qualifications
  :
• 5+ years of combined education, training, and experience in mechanical maintenance with emphasis on sanitary processing equipment and systems.
• 3+ years knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with related maintenance activity.
• Experience in a highly regulated function (cGMP).
• Experience executing and documenting maintenance work orders in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs; work with minimal direction; effective communication of issues and task status; teamwork and collaboration.
