Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

• 8-week contract duration

• Looking for local travelers

• One year of nursing experience required

• Epic experience required

• North Carolina RN license required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required

• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting

• Assess patient/family readiness to learn and developmental factors affecting learning

• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan

• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs

• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and evaluation of patient care

• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects

• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families

• Collaborate with patient/family to prepare and update plan of care

• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities
