Job Details

• Part time
• 8 hour shifts, guaranteed
• Three days per week:
  Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• $70/hour; negotiable with experience
• W-2 position
• potential for expansion to 5 days per week;
  Full time equivalent of $140K per year
• Valid Physician Assistant license
• DEA license a bonus, otherwise will have to apply

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Diagnose mental health conditions and illnesses
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Educate patients and their family members
• Oversee patients? treatment plan
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge

Skills

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
• Experience with difficult intravenous access is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Patience and cool-headedness
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
