Seasonal Summer Camp — Lead & Coordinator; Gym

All summer camp positions are seasonal, hours vary between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (25-40 hr./week). Hired individuals will receive a free membership to the Hunt Fitness Center during employment.

Required Dates of Employment: June 15 - August 14, 2026

Summer 2026 On-Site Training Dates: June 2-12, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum age of 20 yrs.
• Valid NC driver’s license
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Early childhood education experience preferred.

General Duties

• General supervision of camp staff
• Transport/drives campers in 15 passenger van
• Ensures safety of campers
  * Implements daily activities & games
• Communicates with camper parents

Starting at $16 per hr.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 yrs.
• Valid NC driver’s license
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Early childhood education experience preferred

• General supervision of camp counselors
• Transport/drives campers in 15 passenger van
• Ensures safety of campers
  * Plans daily activities & games
• Communicates with camper parents as needed

Starting at $12+ per hr.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 yrs.
• Valid NC  driver’s license
• Must pass background check and drug screening

General Duties

• Plans and facilitates games & activities with lead counselors
• Set-up/gather supplies
• Supervises campers for safety and fun

Starting at $9+ per hr.
