Inventory Control Lead Specialist

K&R Truck Sales and West Michigan International (WMI) is a locally owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch services in the truck dealership industry. With five locations across West Michigan, we offer an extensive service department, complete body shops, parts delivery, mobile service trucks, towing, and a laser focus on customer service. We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.

This role is integral to our operations, ensuring our inventory is accurately tracked and managed. We offer a positive work environment and a generous benefits package, and we are committed to the growth and wellness of our employees.

• Team leadership:
  Lead and motivate inventory teams to achieve operational goals while implementing company policies and guidelines.
• Manage all inbound stock shipments.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory and assist with warehousing and relocating items.
• Organize and manage warehouse space which includes outdoor storage.
• Assist with customer pickups and preparing/shipping outbound freight.
• Work with online inventory system and website to ensure correct inventory and images are accurate.
• Problem resolution: address and resolve inventory related issues promptly and maintain smooth workflow.

• Experience with heavy-duty truck parts is preferred.
• Five years of experience in inventory management or relevant supply chain roles, with proven experience leading and managing teams.
• Ability to drive and operate a variety of warehouse powered industrial trucks (standup and sit down forklifts.)
