CDL Driver with Passenger Endorsement

Freedom Village of Holland Michigan is hiring a part‑time, hourly driver. Pay: $22.00‑$22.50 per hour plus a $500 sign‑on bonus.

The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of residents to scheduled activities, group functions, and medical appointments. CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement is required.

• Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments.
• Completes a safety check of the vehicle before transporting residents.
• Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out.
• Transports vehicle to service locations for routine preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
• Immediately notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents.
• Makes miscellaneous runs for administrative errands as necessary.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Attends in‑service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Must be CPR, AED, and First Aid certified.

• High school education required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state.
• Commercial Driver License with Passenger Endorsement.
• Good driving record meeting company’s Driver Selection Policy standards.
• Courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude toward residents at all times.
• Ability to interpret and follow map directions.

• Must be able to sit in a vehicle for up to six (6) hours per day.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to load and unload cargo areas.
• Must have the ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Must keep vehicles clean.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for handling luggage and resident groceries.
• May be exposed to the elements (rain, cold, heat) for short periods.
• Must have good driving skills on wet and/or slippery roads.
