SAP ABAP Developer

The Senior ABAP Developer will serve as a technical expert within our SAP landscape, leading the design, development, and optimization of solutions across SAP S/4

HANA. This role combines hands‑on engineering with strategic thinking to ensure our systems remain modern, efficient, scalable, and aligned with clean core principles. You will collaborate closely with product owners, functional analysts, and manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to translate business needs into elegant, high‑performing technical solutions.

• Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and engineering mindset

• Classic ABAP and Modern ABAP on S/4

• Experience with BAS, Eclipse/ADT, and SAP Fiori integration
• Expertise in:
  • Object‑Oriented ABAP
  • Module Pool Programming
  • Function Groups
  • Reports, ALV IDA
  • Enhancements, User Exits
  • BAPI, RFC, IDoc
  • Adobe Forms
  • Data Dictionary design and optimization

• Key User Extensibility
• Pro Developer Extensibility
• Clean Core‑aligned development practices

• CDS views, HANA database experience
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• REST APIs, OData v4, SAP Gateway
• Postman or similar API testing tools

• Experience with one or more SAP functional areas such as:
• PPDS
• aATP
• SD
• LE/WM
• MM
• FI
• SCM

• Abap, SAP Fiori, ABAP unit testing, SAP API Management

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (In lieu of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience per missing year of education.)
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language
• 10+ years of design, development, and support experience in SAP technologies
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4

Expert Level

Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI. Fully onsite.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 – $72.00/hr.
