Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert, where you will help create a welcoming experience for guests and support the store's operations.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and organizing the backroom.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes such as changing prices, merchandise set-up, and inventory accuracy.
• Learn operational procedures to improve inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with safety policies and training.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and follow a multi-step process.
• Attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
