Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1482) – On-Demand Team Member s role is intended for flexible scheduling; shifts are picked up through the myTime scheduling app and are not guaranteed on the posted weekly schedule.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour

• Deliver a great guest experience by greeting and assisting guests, answering questions, and helping with product and service inquiries.
• Operate check lanes, assist with purchases, and support grocery and store services (including Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry) while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store tools, products, services, and loyalty programs; assist guests with enrollment and usage as needed.
• Promote and explain Target app features, Wallet, and other digital capabilities to guests.
• Follow Target policies and procedures, including returns, cash handling, and escalation when necessary; collaborate with leaders to resolve guest concerns and de-escalate situations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and stock supplies during store hours, while staying accessible to guests.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Support cash office processes as needed and assist with cash handling tasks.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, and remain composed in a dynamic setting.

• Effective communication and a guest-focused attitude; willingness to educate guests about products and services.
• Attention to detail, comfort with technology (handheld scanners, devices, Target app features).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
