Join Hallmark Cards as a Field Merchandiser and help showcase our products throughout the retail community. This part‑time role is ideal for organized, customer‑focused individuals who enjoy building relationships with store staff and learning a dynamic in‑store merchandising skill set.
Job OverviewYou will work independently to optimize product placement, maintain accurate inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations across a variety of grocery, drug, and mass‑retail stores.
Salary and Schedule- Starting pay: $13.50 – $14.25 per hour (depends on skills and experience).
- Part‑time position with variable schedule; average weekly hours 20‑25.
- Availability required a week before and after major holidays, including weekends.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. - Holiday support:
During peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, anticipate additional days or extended hours, including occasional work on the holiday itself. - Department resets:
Participate in installation and reset tasks (e.g., building fixtures, relocating card departments). Advance notice (typically two weeks) is provided for remodel assignments, which may involve evenings or weekends. - Team collaboration:
Support other merchandisers in the field organization as needed within your territory.
Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders frequently.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable operating a digital handheld device for documents and data capture.
- Reliable Wi‑Fi and internet access.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
