Job Description

Our client is seeking a maintenance tech to join their team full time on 2nd shift. Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, this role provides advanced technical support for the installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated and electronic manufacturing equipment.

The technician will be working independently and with a team on automated manufacturing equipment for the automotive industry.

Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, HMI. Supports continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.

+ 2nd shift (3pm
-11pm)

+ 45-50 hour work weeks

+ Voluntary overtime available, paid $1.5x over 40 hours worked

Responsibilities:

+ Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems

+ Support new equipment launches and retrofits

+ Perform and improve preventive maintenance using CMMS software

+ Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime

Qualifications:

+ ~4+ years in manufacturing maintenance OR associates degree+ or schooling/training in relevant field

+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

+ Hydraulics, pneumatics, or robotics experience

+ Effective communication and leadership abilities

+ English required;
Spanish bilingual preferred

+ PLC troubleshooting experience

+ Robotics programming experience

Work Environment

Tier one automotive manufacturing environment in mid sized plant in the Holland, MI area. Typical manufacturing working environment. Some overtime required, with plenty of overtime available if desired.

2nd shift with opportunity to move shift down the road.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
