Setup Technician - Holland Area

Salary Range: $39,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

• Perform machine setups and changeovers for various manufacturing equipment.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and materials according to specifications.
• Verify machine settings and conduct first-piece inspections to ensure product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues encountered during setup.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup processes and machine performance.
• Document setup procedures, machine parameters, and any encountered issues.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment during downtime or changeovers.

• 2+ years experience in machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and hand/power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field preferred.

• CNC programming experience (G-code/M-code)
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, SMED)
• Robotics or automation experience
