Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a 1st shift Material Handler located in Holland, MI. The Material Handler will be integral to the efficient operation of our plastics injection molding process. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibilities will include material handling, operating forklifts, and mixing materials.
This position will also require driving of the company van to collect or deliver items as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare/manage materials on a daily basis to meet upcoming demand.
- Bucket material into machine containers throughout the shift.
- Operate press side color feeders.
- Operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to material containers for ease of identification.
- Prepare & store finished goods as completed.
- Remove samples of material and/or labels with identifying information as needed
- Clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
- Disassemble containers when material is depleted
- Deliveries or collections with company van
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 Year related work experience.
- Must have ability to read and write and comprehend instructions.
- Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must have a valid driver's license and forklift license.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch.
- Must be able to lift/move up 50 pounds.
- Vision ability include distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Must be eligible to work in United States.
