Fogg Filler is seeking a talented, team-oriented CNC Machinist to setup and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision Fogg parts in a timely manner. Reads and understands blueprints for part specifications, such as dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Applies programmer instructions, such as setup sheets, stock notes and tooling requirements. Is able to apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures based on the programmers  directions.

Responsibilities
  • Setup, and operate 3 and 4 axis CNC mills and lathes (Haas mills, Doosan lathes).
  • Machine parts to specifications on detail prints provided, or as instructed.
  • Set up tooling, work pieces, and fixtures as directed.
  • In depth knowledge of measuring equipment common to the machinist’s trade (calipers, micrometers, height gage, profilometers, etc.).
  • Record set-up and run time through ERP system for tracking of time on all jobs.
  • Monitor due dates and complete all work as scheduled.
  • Deliver parts to other departments in the plant as necessary.
  • Capable of delivering clear and concise verbal and written information to team members as necessary.
  • Willing to work and cross train on various positions or equipment as required.
  • Capable of properly inspecting your own work as well as others as needed.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily, including trash, coolant, and work area maintenance.
  • Shift Premium.
Who we’re looking for
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Machining experience preferred.
  • Experience with Solid Works and Mastercam preferred.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Punctuality and attendance are imperative.
  • Proficient at critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Work overtime as required.
