Warehouse Technician

SUMMARY

Receives, stores, and distributes material, products within establishments by performing the following duties.

• Pulling parts orders, receive return to stock from production, put (away) operating the supermarket function. Fill bin locations for the supermarket.
• Perform cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy upon pulling parts orders and supermarket parts.
• Pulling parts orders and Supermarket parts.
• Ability to operate electric devices, or a computer.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Ability to maintain 5s and lean practices.
• Ability to multi-task and be a Team player.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Understand and perform according to operating instructions.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months warehouse related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to read and understand English.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
