Production Operator 2nd shift

Apply for the Production Operator 2nd shift at Challenge Manufacturing
. The position is 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday, at our Holland, MI facility.

• Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press welders, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal, composite, or plastic stock.
• Understand and explain the company’s Quality Policy, Quality Management System, and document architecture.
• Identify and log quality non‑conformances and participate in corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Conduct housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
• Observe all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Attend scheduled training and educational programs.
• Work independently and as a team at different work stations as production needs require.
• Position parts against fixtures or stop on machine bed or on die; start press and detect misalignment or malfunction.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications and report non‑conformances to the team leader or quality inspector.
• Clean machines, pack parts, and complete tags to track the flow of product.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and turn completed paperwork to the team leader.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

• Occasionally may require early arrival, late departure, or weekend work outside of regular hours to meet customer needs.
