Tommy’s is looking for a Recruiter to hire the best talent for our corporately operated retail car wash stores (TXO), consisting of locations in 4 states with the expectation of steady growth. This role will create a best‑in‑class process and strategy for building a candidate pool that will result in top‑level retail team members.

Position Responsibilities

  • Run full‑cycle recruiting process for all positions, bringing in the best talent
  • Maintain job descriptions and hiring pipeline
  • Develop a strong understanding of responsibilities and skills needed for open roles to properly assess candidates
  • Post and advertise open roles through appropriate sources
  • Source candidates by screening applicants and proactively searching through candidate databases/network tools
  • Build relationships with local community organizations to enhance candidate pool
  • Conduct initial screens to qualify candidates and provide recommendations/interview notes to managers
  • Keep candidates engaged and moving through the process by scheduling interviews and ensuring proper follow‑up with both managers and candidates
  • Participate with in‑person interviews where applicable
  • Create offers and push through approval process for final candidates
  • Deliver offers to candidate and close the process – manage communication through to signature, guide candidate through new hire background check/drug test process, push candidate to onboarding process and complete all activities/follow‑up to ensure candidate is ready for their first day
  • Partner with corporate HR team to utilize Predictive Index assessments as desired
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred ideally in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required, preferably in a retail environment
  • Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; database systems experience a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Process‑oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data‑backed decisions
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation
  • Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can‑do attitude
  • Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them

Work Environment And Physical Demands

  • This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and secondarily in a retail car wash environment. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; however, operating store hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, and this role will need to be available as needed during operating hours.
  • This role operates primarily indoors with travel expectation up to 25% visiting stores. While visiting stores, this role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work.
  • Work and commute in all weather conditions
