SUMMARY

Management Business Solutions is seeking an Sr. HR Manager for a client located in the Holland, Michigan area. This person will support large-scale manufacturing operations across North America. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for partnering closely with operations leadership to drive workforce effectiveness, talent strategy, and consistent HR practices across multiple sites. This role leads and mentors a team while shaping people strategies that support growth, engagement, and operational excellence—particularly within an hourly workforce environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR leaders.
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to manufacturing and operations leadership.
  • Design and implement HR strategies aligned with operational and business goals.
  • Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employment practices.
  • Drive consistency and standardization of HR processes across multiple locations.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage regional HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong business acumen with experience supporting manufacturing or operations teams.
  • Ability to influence leaders and translate business needs into people strategies.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work onsite in Holland, Michigan
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to visit other plants.
