Automation Design Engineer – Pick & Place, Conveyor Design, Bowl Feeder
- Design, install, and integrate automation solutions for plant machinery and equipment.
- Lead equipment modifications and enhancements to improve performance and compatibility.
- Develop business case documentation to support automation initiatives.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Implement process improvements focused on safety, ergonomics, quality, and productivity.
- Apply structured problem‑solving tools such as A3, KT, and DMAIC (Six Sigma).
- Collaborate with plant operations to monitor project progress and identify future opportunities.
- Analyze trends and present reports to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works, Excel, and Minitab.
- Experience with robotics programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
