Successful candidates will possess the ability to design and develop assembly models, mechanisms, and components for standard products,custom adaptations of these products and custom machinery designs. We attributeour sustained growth to the daily contributions of the remarkable individuals who make up our team. This person will take general direction from the Engineering Manager. Given project scope and specifications, the personestimates resources, develops project schedules and manages design resources todeliver robust, cost effective and timely product solutions.

Limited travel maybe necessary.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational details and implementation of usable parts into manufacturing with consideration given to:functionality, reliability, manufacturability and cost.
• Responsible for bill of material creation,engineering drawings, manufacturing support, final assembly checkout,installation support and post shipment follow up.
• Provides support to Sales and Customer Servicein estimating and developing retrofit solutions.
• Works with Electrical Engineering on machinecontrols to provide an integrated product.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements

5-year minimum mechanical engineering / industrial automation / systems integration. As a Mechanical Engineer, you must havedemonstrated experience working on the types of projects listed above to be considered for this position. Other requirements for the Mechanical Engineer include:

• In-depth knowledge of all types of industrialcontrol systems for machinery
• Minimum B.S. in in Mechanical Engineering, orrelated field.
• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design and manufacturing. 2+ years’ experience with Solid Works
• Ability to understand and follow all safetyprecautions
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and critical thinking / problem solving skills
• Ability to organize and manage projects on timeand on budget
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at alllevels of the organization.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
