Request Foods is hiring a Part-Time
Payroll Supervisor
. In this position your areas of responsibility will include preparing the biweekly salaried payroll, supervising and back filling the hourly payroll specialist, managing the Company’s corporate card program, and processing employee expense reports. The salaried, benefits-eligible role is expected to be 30 hours per week, though the workload may be heavier at year-end. While we are looking for a part-time candidate, we could convert this into a full-time role if the candidate has accounting and/or HR experience and could take on additional responsibilities.
- Accurate and timely processing of the Company’s biweekly salaried payroll in Paycor including wage calculations, deductions and direct deposits
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and ensure the accuracy of data related to pay, taxes and benefits
- Produce reporting on payroll metrics for internal and compliance purposes
- Maintain accurate accounting of payroll on the general ledger
- Supervise, assist, and backfill for hourly payroll specialist as needed
- Ensure all payroll activities comply with relevant government laws and regulations, and stay up to date on changing tax laws
- Act as first point of contact for salaried employees regarding their pay, deductions, and other payroll-related questions
- Administer the Company’s corporate card program and ensure all charges are reviewed and coded properly
- Review the Company’s employee expense reports for compliance with the Company’s expense policy
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in payroll
- Integrity, discretion and follow through
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to accuracy and details
- Experience supervising employees
- Experience with Paycor desired, and other payroll processing software
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
