Cost Accountant - Holland Area

Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing actual production costs to standard costs.
• Perform detailed variance analysis for material, labor, and overhead, explaining deviations and trends.
• Manage inventory valuation, including work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, focusing on cost of goods sold and manufacturing expenses.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and process improvements across production.
• Provide detailed cost information and analysis to support pricing decisions and product profitability.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze production costs and provide actionable insights for cost reduction and efficiency

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced experience with SAP CO, Oracle Cost Management, or similar ERP costing modules.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and analysis.
