We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing team at LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting/finance. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will assist in day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and perform analysis based on financial results.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports
• Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information
• Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed
• Assist in conducting design/operating effectiveness testing of ICFR
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Assist in communicating with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or other related fields or equivalent, relevant experience

• 1 to 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience in manufacturing desired
• Experience with SAP software preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
