Maintenance Technician​/Handyman

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician/Handyman to support our growing Property Maintenance Team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including routine maintenance and service requests, unit turnovers, and full‑scale renovation projects.

• Perform general repairs and respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and unit readiness
• Assist with remodeling projects and property upgrades as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when required
• Communicate effectively and professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members
• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including:

• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Flooring
• Painting
• HVAC (certification a plus)

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of experience in multi‑unit property maintenance or handyman work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks efficiently
• HVAC certification preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check to access occupied units
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and safely using ladders

• Must have own tools and reliable transportation (gas allowance provided for travel between properties)
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required
• Smartphone required to receive work orders, emails, and text communications
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, respectful demeanor
• Availability to respond promptly to service calls throughout the day
