Sales Representative, Business Development
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic outside salesperson to join our team and focus on opening new business‑to‑business (B2B) accounts. This position is ideal for an individual who is driven and excels at prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, driving sales, and expanding our customer base by securing new accounts within a multi‑state territory.
This outside sales position entails building business revenue and relationships for Phytomer Corporation, increasing sales revenue both from existing clients and creating new business opportunities.
This position is ideal for someone who connects quickly with people in a poised, convincing and enthusiastic way. This job will involve working at a fast pace, and someone with a drive to get things done. Understanding people and having good interpersonal skills is crucial.

Phytomer Corporation has been importing and distributing Phytomer in the United States since the early 1980’selling to spas, day spas, resort and hotel spas, medi‑spas, club spas and cruise ship spas.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the multi‑state assigned territory (Intermountain West, position based in Utah).
- Use various lead generation methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to uncover potential clients.
- Qualify leads and convert them into new accounts by offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. Increase sales by consistently opening new accounts.

Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within prospective companies.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure long‑term success and satisfaction.
- Establish a rapport and trust to create loyal and long‑lasting partnerships.

Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Present products/services to potential clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Understand client requirements and present customized proposals that address their unique needs.
- Negotiate terms to close new accounts and achieve sales goals.
4.
Territory Management:
- Increase sales and maintain relationships with existing client base.
- Manage and prioritize a list of prospects within the assigned multi‑state territory.
- Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Regularly report on progress, sales activities, and market insights to management.
- Provide excellent customer service with a sense of urgency, purpose and professionalism.
- Create an efficient territory schedule to ensure regular client visits, and effective prospecting.
- Periodically conduct product knowledge & retail sales training to client spa staff.
- Implement annual client business plan with ongoing analysis.
- Conduct special promotional events in the spa.
- Present and help implement sales, marketing and educational tools to clients.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Leverage market insights to position the company’s offerings in a competitive manner.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve sales strategies and performance.

Collaboration & Goals:
- Work closely with the education, marketing and support teams to develop sales strategies and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure fulfillment of customer orders and post‑sale support.
