. This position is fast‑paced, reports directly to the Executive Director of Operations, and will have direct reports including department leaders, project managers, and select others.

Responsibilities- Lead a high‑performing team and drive operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth for the Water Performance Unit.
- Deliver the fiscal year annual plan, including bottom‑line growth (net revenue and operating margin), operating margin with proportional gross margin to G&A ratio, net hiring goals, top‑line growth with sales, and continual improvement of Days Sales Outstanding.
- Bring executive‑level business/financial acumen to deliver business KPIs and identify margin expansion opportunities.
- Lead quarterly Water PU business forecasts against the fiscal year plan.
- Provide enterprise leadership and coaching for future leaders through career development.
- Lead recruiting and retention efforts, creating a culture of caring that results in low attrition and highly engaged teams.
- Drive market expansion through strategic partnerships and client engagement in collaboration with sales, regional technologist, and alternative delivery leads.
- Grow global delivery models and promote use of global delivery centers.
- Promote “Beyond Zero”, quality, and safety programs to create an incident‑ and injury‑free culture.
- Serve in key roles for higher‑risk projects and top pursuits, engaging with contracting, risk, and legal teams.
- Proven success in managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L ownership.
- Track record of operational transformation and driving growth.
- Inclusive leadership style with a passion for people development.
- Ability to prioritize and execute top business needs while maintaining an agile pace.
- Champion for global delivery and digital delivery adoption & growth.
- Market knowledge of trends and drivers in the water market, including alternative delivery.
- 15+ years in leadership roles, preferably directly in operations for infrastructure and/or water markets.
- Engineering or business degree; master’s preferred.
