Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Help patients through their exams by taking histories and performing eye tests
- Check vision, eye pressure, and assist with refractions
- Perform diagnostic testing like OCTs, visual fields, and imaging
- Assist the doctor during exams and minor procedures
- Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready
- Experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician is great, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Certification (COA/COT) is a plus, not a must
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
