Overview
Highland Care Center is currently searching for a talented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team!
Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Health Care Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.
Key program and service area- Highland Care Center’s M
* obile Outpatient Rehabilitation Extension “M.O.R.E*” program. - We go to homes, assisted living facilities, independent living, apartments, etc. to provide therapy.
- We see patients based on medical necessity with higher frequency and duration than traditional home health-based therapy programs.
- We treat a variety of conditions including functional declines, orthopedic, neuromuscular, dementia, and more.
Daily Pay Available
Responsibilities- Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
- Help residents improve their mobility.
- Assist residents with tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform residents what to anticipate in different stages of recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

- Must hold current and active PTA license or registration in the state employed.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
