• Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests trade‑up or companion items.
• Registers customer purchases, collects cash, distributes change, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintains clean, well merchandised counters and shelves, takes inventory, and keeps accurate records.
• Checks in and prices merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.

• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sales merchandise, and completes resets and revisions.
• Separates food items and arranges product placement per policies (e.g., raw meats on lower shelves). For consumable items, assists in stock rotation using FIFO.

• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assumes web pick‑up responsibilities—monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers upon arrival at the store.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Collaborates with coworkers while maintaining respectful relationships and following all company policies.
• Completes special assignments and additional tasks as assigned.

• Attends training and completes PPLs as requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Pacific exception in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
