Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Hoffman Estates, IL, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Labor & Delivery unit within a busy hospital setting
- Unit features a Level III NICU, OB ED, and antepartum areas
- Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Occasional floating to similar units such as Mother Baby
- Provides nursing care across labor and delivery, with potential crossover to antepartum and Mother Baby areas
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible at a different pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AHA/AAP)
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
