Job Title:

Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager for the Datacenter Build Management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills and a background in Data Center Construction with an emphasis on telecom project/construction management.

Responsibilities

+ Advocate for safe worksites, support the implementation of the High Risk Activity program, and collaborate with Construction PM and landlord groups.

+ Coordinate internal scope, resource efforts, and schedules with landlord-owned vendors and suppliers to ensure timely handover of the data center facility.

+ Work with the Data Center Engineering team and specialty consultants to review, improve, and execute designs.

+ Coordinate procurement and installation of telecom materials, security systems, and facility Corporate Network.

+ Align metro-wide delivery strategies to local team objectives and manage vendor management strategies.

+ Identify and manage stakeholder dependencies, construction deliverables, and handoffs with various internal teams.

+ Develop and maintain best practices for cost-effective solutions and report on KPIs.

+ Manage vendor selection, contracting, and integration of multiple partners.

+ Facilitate client decision-making and manage change as required.

+ Review cost and KPI metrics, invoices, and communications with client partners.

+ Coordinate meetings and activities of vendors and cost managers.

+ Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget.

+ Track lessons learned and execute cost-down and site-up opportunities.

+ Provide vendor oversight and performance management.

+ Support preparation of RFPs, PERs, and other project approval tools.

+ Validate vendor pay-application and invoice reviews.

+ Manage compliance with prior audit results and recommendations.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years experience working on data center projects.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years experience in IT fit-out or construction-related project management.

+ Project Management, Construction Management, Data Center, Ground Up, Telecom, Network Infrastructure, Network Installation.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired.

+ Heavy experience in Telecommunications and Data Center White Space Fitout.

+ Experience in coordinating complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders.

Work Environment

The role is hybrid, requiring presence in Chicago three days a week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hoffman Estates, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83.00 - $93.00/hr.
