What the SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager Will Do
  • Partner with U.S. and international business units during the monthly close process, ensuring consolidated books are accurate, compliant, and timely.
  • Lead the monthly global financial statement consolidation in SAP.
  • Oversee and review the accounting for stock-based compensation and complex transactions
    .
  • Review and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings
    , including 10-K/10-Q footnotes, cash flow, equity, and subsidiary financial statements.
  • Prepare and review technical accounting memos and documentation for special transactions (debt, equity, M&A, and other non-routine events).
  • Support the quarterly earnings release
    , Audit Committee materials, and other reporting deliverables.
  • Perform covenant compliance calculations related to the company’s credit agreements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Support the company’s annual and triggering event impairment testing
    .
  • Maintain strong documentation for SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Lead the filing of required government and industry financial surveys
    .
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
    CPA strongly preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience, ideally with a public accounting and industry mix (manufacturing / consumer goods highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with consolidation tools (e.g., One Stream or Hyperion) a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and review technical accounting memos (ASC 606, ASC 350, ASC 360, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all organizational levels
  • Driven, detail-oriented professional with proven leadership and critical thinking skills
