OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Field Test Engineering Technician to help validate advanced radar and sensing systems in real-world environments. This role is ideal for someone who prefers testing products where they actually operate—in cities, open terrain, hills, and flat land—not just in a lab.
This is a foundational role on a newly formed field testing team, with clear runway to grow into a team lead position.
What You’ll Be Doing- Field testing radar and GPS-based sensing systems in real operating environments
- Pushing products to success—or failure—to understand real performance limits
- Collecting and analyzing test data and sharing insights with engineering teams
- Documenting results and helping improve future designs
- Supporting a growing test organization from the ground up
- Prior experience testing GPS, radar, RF, or similar sensing products in the field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently outdoors and on-site
- No degree required—hands-on experience matters most
- Must have prior experience with a minimum of 2+ years of this experience. Military experience doing similar work is highly encouraged.
