Packaging Sales Specialist (Commission-Heavy)

My client, a growing packaging distributor, is hiring a Sales Specialist who combines a hunter mentality with trust, discipline, and operational curiosity. This is a consultative, commission‑heavy role focused on uncovering inefficiencies, challenging outdated packaging decisions, and delivering smarter, lower‑cost solutions.
What You’ll Do- Prospect and generate new commercial business through field activity and cold calling
- Conduct packaging evaluations across materials, design, vendors, and inventory
- Recommend packaging systems that reduce SKUs, consolidate vendors, and lower total cost
- Manage and grow existing accounts through ongoing improvement conversations
- Perform product demonstrations and support customer decision‑making
A broad range of packaging solutions including corrugated and chipboard packaging, protective materials, pallet and load stabilization products, stretch wrap, tapes, labels, bulk packaging, pallets, and void fill. You’re selling systems and outcomes - not a catalog.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 2+ years of cold‑calling sales experience with a strong track record
- Experience developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Experience selling in the packaging industry highly preferred
