Female Waking Night Project Worker

Join our dedicated team at Haselwood Avenue, a registered care home in Hoddesdon. We currently have part‑time positions (18 hours per week and 27 hours per week) for a Female Waking Night Project Worker to support adults with learning disabilities during night hours. You’ll provide overnight care and support that truly makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Communicate effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
  • Promote independence and respect the wishes of the people we support.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly while ensuring the safety of the property.
  • Offer emotional support as needed.
  • Respond to and document any crisis events that may occur during the night.
  • Administer medication when required and complete household tasks.
  • Provide personal care support during the night when required, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and wellbeing are upheld.

  • An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.
