Female Waking Night Project Worker
Join our dedicated team at Haselwood Avenue, a registered care home in Hoddesdon. We currently have part‑time positions (18 hours per week and 27 hours per week) for a Female Waking Night Project Worker to support adults with learning disabilities during night hours. You’ll provide overnight care and support that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities- Support vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.
- Work as part of a team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
- Promote independence and respect the wishes of the people we support.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly while ensuring the safety of the property.
- Offer emotional support as needed.
- Respond to and document any crisis events that may occur during the night.
- Administer medication when required and complete household tasks.
- Provide personal care support during the night when required, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and wellbeing are upheld.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different needs.
- A team‑focused mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
- A commitment to delivering excellent care and support.
- An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.
- Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year (pro rata), including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service.
- £12.93 per hour salary.
