AVP, Source to Pay - Software Procurement Leader, Synchrony Bank, Stamford, CT.
Lead Software procurement team responsible for purchasing, licensing, and deployment activities. Manage software procurement process. Reconcile usage versus entitlements to validate contract and purchase compliance. Develop and implement processes for managing software asset inventory efficiently and accurately for top software publishers. Monitor and ensure timely completion of operational fulfilment. Support compliance and process improvement. Collaborate with business units and IT teams to understand software requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
Monitor software usage, licenses, and expenditures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and rationalization. Conduct analysis of software needs. Manage software licenses and agreements to mitigate legal and financial risks, including monitoring license usage, renewals, and optimizing allocations to minimize costs.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.
- 5:30 p.m.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.
Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:
- Software procurement and software asset management;
- Source to pay processes, tools, and technologies, such as e-procurement systems and contract management software, and software asset management tools and technologies;
- IT governance frameworks;
- Keeping track of software procurement COE Service Now ticket queue to ensure timely completion of operational fulfilment tickets;
- Service Now or other major ITAM tool to ensure compliance and process improvement;
- Coupa for procurement, finance, and supply chain management;
- Performing internal and external audits; and
- End-to-end procurement process.
Must have one (1) year of experience with/in:
- Software licensing models, contract terms, pricing structures, and negotiation strategies.
