The Role

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Prompt
, you’ll be a senior individual contributor responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top engineering talent across multiple disciplines. You’ll partner closely with engineering leadership to understand role expectations, calibrate on candidate profiles, and run a tight, effective hiring process from first touch to offer.

This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused
, ideal for someone who thrives on sourcing, candidate engagement, and closing competitive engineering talent.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Building strong partnerships with engineering leaders to understand technical needs and hiring priorities.

  • Owning full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles including sourcing, outreach, screening, interview facilitation, and offer negotiation.

  • Using advanced sourcing methods to identify and engage passive talent across Linked In, Git Hub, technical communities, and referrals.

  • Conducting thoughtful technical screens to assess candidate depth, experience, and alignment with team expectations.

  • Managing pipelines, communications, and candidate progress with precision inside our ATS.

  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience grounded in responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive senior-level execution across all stages of engineering hiring.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of Prompt’s technical environment, engineering levels, and role requirements.

  • Proactively source talent using creative and targeted strategies.

  • Partner with hiring managers to align on candidate calibration, interview structure, and closing strategies.

Who You Are
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • You bring 8+ years of technical recruiting experience
    , ideally hiring software engineers in high-growth environments.

  • You have demonstrated success filling complex, senior, or hard-to-hire engineering roles.

  • You’re an expert sourcer who knows how to uncover and engage top passive talent.

  • You’re comfortable discussing technical concepts and partnering with engineering leaders.

  • You operate with ownership, speed, and accountability, and manage your pipelines with exceptional attention to detail.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, and you enjoy being an IC who delivers high-volume, high-quality recruiting output.

Nice to Have
  • Experience using Ashby or a similar modern ATS.

  • Background recruiting for SaaS, healthcare technology, or scaling startup environments.

  • Experience sourcing for backend, full-stack, Dev Ops, and data engineering roles.
