Category Procurement Assistant Manager PC
Represent Procurement as the key interface both internally & externally while supporting the launch of new innovative products. Will remain as the Procurement single point of contact for internal business partners and external suppliers as it relates to innovations programs. Responsible for material pricing, project coordination/communication to key internal/external stakeholders and ensure on‑time in full delivery. Support the innovation team to understand material costing, iTO improvement and gross margin improvement for the BU.
Reports to Assistant Category Procurement Manager.
- Execute ongoing formulation, packaging and graphic changes for brand maintenance through the innovation projects led by Brand Development (e.g. line extensions and re‑launches). Responsible for the coordination/communication to the key internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage the transition to minimize write‑offs.
- Manage key stakeholders related to project execution, such as R&D (raw/pack), Quality, SC Planning, Brand Development, Finance, Portfolio Procurement, Global Procurement and external supply base.
- Leverage project management skills to drive on‑time in full project delivery.
- Evaluate & identify various savings projects & strategic initiatives – tasks include calculating cost savings, assessing ways of working, designing, proposing & standardising new processes.
- Develop all cost inputs, capital requirements and recommendations for capacity, and be responsible for all supplier liabilities in the financial business case for raw and packaging materials utilised in Innovation and VIP projects.
- Materials represent the majority of supply chain cost, 70% avg.
- Support the BU PC innovation team to understand material costing, iTO improvement and gross margin improvement for the BU. Propose alternative solutions to improve gross margin for the BU.

Generate excitement within the cross‑functional team by driving engagement through our Innovation and 5S Savings programs to deliver essential KPIs. Create brainstorming workshops and various events to create the roadmap and land key savings targets!
- Business or Technical degree required with 2-3 years general business experience in any function (Logistics/Operations/Manufacturing/Supply Management/Planning).
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Understanding of tactical and strategic business objectives.
- Experience and working knowledge with Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience with Ariba, SAP and PLM preferred.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long‑Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
