Summary:The Treater Truck Driver responsible for operating light-to-medium-sized trucks for transportation, safe handling and treating of oilfield & industrial chemicals, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Drivers are dispatched out of a DK Energy Services location and will be making day trip deliveries within the assigned District. This entry-level role, working under close supervision and reporting to either a Driver Manager or Site Manager.
Clean driving record and CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
- On-time daily trips to specified locations
- Complete inspection reports (pre-job hazard assessment forms, per-trip inspection logs & enroute logbooks)
- Clear documentation of all paperwork including Field Delivery Tickets and TDG Manifests
- Operate various pumps (high and low pressure) with hoses, risers and valves and various fittings
- Reset flow meter before pumping and record the delivered quantities
- Double check and record the quantities delivered and record in the Cenovus run sheets
- Follow all company policies and procedures at all times
- Outstanding safety performance and consistent environmental compliance
- Commitment to safety, environmental and industrial hygiene practices
- Interaction with management and customers
- Routine vehicle maintenance and housekeeping
Supervisory Responsibilities:- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience/
Skills:- CDL Class A/B with Hazmat endorsement and tanker endorsement
- Forklift certified
- Pipeline certification
- Must have clean driving record
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Knowledge of TDG and WHMIS
- Basic mechanical skills
- Physically capable of loading and unloading goods up to 50 lbs
- Ability to load, unload and operate a forklift & pumping equipment
- Experience with Acid and Hazardous Material handling
Conditions:This position requires working in a standard driving environment: traffic, long periods of sitting, getting in and out of high-profile truck. Employees will need to be able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs with no problem, and work in extreme weather conditions. Employees will need to communicate effectively with peers and managers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
