Fleet and Facility Assistant

Job Summary:
The Fleet and Facility Assistant is responsible for maintaining the organization's fleet of vehicles and assisting with the upkeep of facilities. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality service. The ability to travel within a 100-mile radius as needed. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Upkeep:
  Perform routine vehicle inspections and facility walkthroughs to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Installation and Repairs:
  Install seat covers, toolboxes, and replace taillight bulbs, along with other minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Heavy Lifting:
  Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
• Travel:
  Travel to various locations within a 100-mile radius to perform maintenance and repair duties. No overnight travel required.
• Shared On-Call Work:
  Available for on-call assignments outside of regular Monday to Friday work hours to address urgent maintenance needs.
• Facility Support:
  Assist with cleaning, inventory management, and other facility maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous experience in fleet maintenance or facility management preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Good organizational, communication Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to pass a drug (hair follicle) and alcohol test.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
• Shared on- call Work required, with flexibility to respond to emergencies.
