Role Description

We are seeking a full-time General Manager for an on-site role located in Hobbs, NM. The General Manager will oversee daily operations of the fitness center, manage and lead staff, develop and implement strategies to grow memberships and revenue, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment for members. Responsibilities include managing budgets, maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies, resolving customer concerns, and fostering a culture that aligns with company values.

The General Manager will work collaboratively with corporate leadership to meet key performance metrics and deliver exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications
  • Leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and motivating staff
  • Experience in operations, budgeting, and revenue growth strategies
  • Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of fitness operations and experience in the fitness or health/wellness industry is a plus
  • Ability to manage facility upkeep, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe environment
  • Proficiency in performance tracking and operational analytics
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a focus on maintaining excellence and accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as required
