Physical Therapy Assistant — Covenant Health
Join the team as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Covenant Health (Covenant Hobbs Hospital), located at 4900 N Lovington Hwy, Hobbs, NM. This is a full‑time, day shift, clinical support role in the Physical Therapy department.
DescriptionThe Physical Therapy Assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients’ progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist, and ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license obtained upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association obtained upon hire.
- Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only):
Degree from an accredited program. - At least 1 year of experience in rehabilitation.

Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, bonuses, etc. Pay range: $24.27 – $37.14 per hour.
